Sydney Fish Market has a parking system that uses number plate recognition technology to replace paper tickets.  

To pay for your parking, head to one of the parking stations at the arcade entrance, enter your number plate and pay the parking fee. Then drive to the exit, where the system will recognise your parking payment and the boom gate will open automatically. Alternatively, you can pay for your parking at the exit gate.  

Please note, our system is cashless. Payment must be made using card; cash is not accepted at any of the pay stations. 

During exceptionally busy periods at Sydney Fish Market (such as special event days), we may be raise entry/exit boom gates and implement a $8 flat rate parking fee, rather than utilising the ticketed parking system.

This enables a faster flow of traffic, reducing waiting times for the public. This system will be implemented at the discretion of operational staff at Sydney Fish Market.

Credit Card Payments - All credit card payments will incur a 2.5% surcharge fee.  

Free Access - Taxis & Emergency vehicles only.  

Disability Parking - Disabled parking spots are located at the end of each parking row, closest to the main Market building.  

Sydney Fish Market offers free disabled parking. To access free parking, please present your disability parking permit to a member of SFM’s security team (weekends), or the Customer Service desk located on L1 (weekdays), and you will be provided with a unique 4-digit code to use on exit.  

Sydney Fish Market's security office is located in the main car park, between the loading docks and GetFish.
