Abacus has cited the rising cost of fuel and related effects on the cost of catching and producing.

Sydney Fish Market officially launched the Fish Names Brand Scheme on Tuesday, June 24 2008. SFM and its retailers were the first to adopt the Scheme which recieved overwhelming positive media response.
The Scheme is open to all businesses in the supply chain from producers through to retail restaurants.
