The health and safety of all visitors and staff at Sydney Fish Market is our highest priority. We continue to closely monitor the situation and respond to all requirements in line with advice from NSW Health.

Sydney Fish Market strongly recommends the wearing of face masks in indoor areas of the Market during the 36-Hour Seafood Marathon.

What safety measures are in place at Sydney Fish Market?

While this is not mandatory according to NSW Health, Sydney Fish Market strongly recommends that all visitors during busy periods such as Christmas wear face masks while in indoor areas of the Market.

COVID Marshals will be stationed on site throughout the 36-Hour Seafood Marathon to encourage compliance with these guidelines.

Other Information

In line with other public spaces and facilities, we have implemented precautionary hygiene measures at Sydney Fish Market, including hand sanitisation points throughout the site and an increased cleaning regime of common touch points across our retail and operational areas.

Sydney Fish Market is also observing safe social distancing measures and asks all visitors to site to ensure they keep a minimum of 1.5 metres distance from each other at all times. Dedicated COVID Marshals are onsite throughout busy periods to ensure compliance.
