Mike’s fascination with bread started at Rockpool and continued as he worked in London’s finest kitchens. A year at Iggy’s in Bronte made him determined to install a wood-fired oven in his next restaurant… and so Kitchen by Mike’s reputation for some of Sydney’s best sourdough was born. At this hands-on workshop Mike will step you through the sourdough process before you bake your own loaf to enjoy with a deliciously simple seafood lunch. You’ll also take home a formed loaf ready to bake the next day and a jar of Mike’s starter to continue your bread making journey.
