GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN

We are celebrating International Women’s Day (8 March) with a lineup of talented female chefs and a shucking class just for women.

EMIKO DAVIES

First up on International Women’s Day we have the brilliant Emiko Davies, who will be taking you through foundational ingredients in Japanese home cooking and her cookbook The Japanese Pantry. Think soy sauce, miso, seaweed, sake, rice vinegar, sesame and tea. Emiko is a food writer, photographer and award-winning cookbook author, so get in quick to secure your spot in this masterclass.

Lizzie Hewson wears many aprons. She is a prolific food writer, cookbook author, recipe writer and the unstoppable force behind The Saturday Night Pasta brand. Her latest cookbook is “Home Food: The perfect cookbook for imperfect cooks” which sounds perfect to us. If you are looking for weekly recipe inspiration, this is the class for you.

MOTHER SHUCKERS: SUNDOWNER

We are throwing a very special ladies-only oyster class as a part of our Sundowner Series. BAKERS DELIGHT

Christopher Thé

This weekend (1 March) we are hosting baking guru Christopher Thé of Hearthe Bakery. If you don’t know Chris, he was the original founder of Black Star Pastry and the creator of the popular watermelon cake and heavily celebrated cookbook Modern Australian Baking. In this artisan class Chris will be doing a pastry deep dive showcasing the techniques, tricks and tips for two foolproof pastries that are as versatile as they are delicious. There are a few tickets left for this class, so grab your rolling pins and get in quick!
