Join us in the Civic Plaza at Sydney Fish Market for three evenings of free live music from emerging Australian singer-songwriters while exploring new dining options and basking under the evening glow for three Saturday performances, starting 21 February, followed by 28 February and 7 March.

Saturday 21 Feb, 5pm – 8pm – Country Folk Fever

5pm – 5.45pm – John James
Wiradjuri musician, John James is known for his distinctive voice and genre-blending sound spanning alternative rock and R&B. As a singer-songwriter, he uses music to explore both the world around him and his own inner landscape. John’s debut single “WAKE” appeared on Apple Music’s First playlist and Indigitube: First Sounds Vol. 5, while “FLY” and “SEA” were selected for Spotify’s Original Storytellers playlist.

6pm – 6.45pm – Euan Hart
Euan Hart is a Sydney-born artist raised in Australia with close family ties to Ireland, blending rich storytelling with modern alt-folk, country, and indie rock influences. Inspired by artists like Wilco, Andy Shauf, The War on Drugs, and Father John Misty, his music shifts between intimate acoustic moments and full-band energy.
With strong ties to Ireland—where he lived and performed for over a year—Euan has built a growing international presence. In the past year he’s completed a 7-date European tour, played Electric Picnic, and sold out multiple headline shows in Sydney and Dublin.

Big Wheels is an electrifying blend of rock and sun-soaked, melodic flair—co-fronted by songwriters Cass Ford and Lawson Doyle. What began in the laid-back suburbs of the Sunshine Coast, Australia in late 2021 has quickly evolved into a powerhouse of classic rock with a modern twist. With a shared love for legends like Fleetwood Mac, Jefferson Airplane, and The Black Keys, Big Wheels craft music that resonates with the raw highs, lows, and complexities of life, all while weaving in a sound that feels both timeless and fresh.

In just the span of less than a year, Pixie has quickly risen through the ranks of the Australian music scene to support the likes of Ash Grunwald, Josh Pyke, Kyle Lionhart, Harrison Storm and many more.
From her beautiful songwriting, heartfelt lyrics and angelic voice, Pixie is a performer you only need to see once to understand what the hype is about.

Jess Beck is an indie pop singer-songwriter, known for her work as the lead vocalist of Pirra. Proud of her Luritja Nation heritage, she is now pursuing a solo career and collaborating with James McKendry, who brings his songwriting and production skills to the project. This partnership showcases their artistic growth and dedication to authentic storytelling, resonating with fans who appreciate music infused with emotional depth, thanks to McKendry’s skilful guitar work and Beck’s syrupy vocals.

7pm – 8pm – Bread Club
Bread Club formed in the wild times of 2016 out of three dreaming bread enthusiasts ambition to start a band in which they could play the disco/funk/pop that warmed their souls while also simultaneously throwing their favourite carb loaded loafs into the crowds of friends and fans at their shows. However after the initial clean up they were forced to undertake after their first gig they thought it best to not trouble the small venues of Sydney with the mess. Nonetheless the name stuck! Bread Club is a band comprised Dillon, Reg and Hamish! The three all live together in space lovingly known as the bakery where they are currently baking up some tasty tunes.

5pm – 5.45pm – Kalena
Kalena is a soulful Sydney-based vocalist, musician, and songwriter whose rich blend of reggae, R&B, pop, and country sets her apart as an exciting new voice in Australia’s contemporary music scene. A former student of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, she has been mentored by some of the industry’s most accomplished musicians and has participated in masterclasses with renowned artists including FINNEAS and rapper YBN Cordae.

Sydney-based rising talent Yasmina Sadiki is redefining the alt-jazz and neo-soul landscape with her spellbinding soundscapes and unmistakable artistic voice. A cornerstone of Sydney’s independent and improvisational music scene, Sadiki has quickly become one of the city’s most captivating live performers. With her hypnotic grooves, cinematic arrangements and raw, emotionally charged vocals, Sadiki leaves audiences entranced- cementing her status as one of Australia’s most exciting artists to watch.

Get ready – Australian pop artist Yorke is bringing her electrifying indie-pop sound to the New Wave stage this March. Known for her shimmering melodies and emotionally charged storytelling, Yorke continues her unstoppable rise with the release of her deluxe EP unfinished business, featuring singles ‘love on the run,’ ‘I wanna hate you,’ and ‘sorry in advance.’ After a whirlwind year that saw her touring internationally, she has captured global attention across Japan and Korea with her viral hit ‘Window Shopping ft. Each performance will be hosted by Ifeoma (Ify) Peace Obiegbu, a Nigerian creative, poet, and storyteller based in South West Sydney. As the former host of Up For It!, FBi Radio’s flagship breakfast show, she spent two years championing local music, spotlighting emerging artists, and leading conversations that shape Sydney’s creative community.
