Kick off the Easter long weekend with a visit to Australia’s Home of Seafood!

Sydney Fish Market will kick off the Easter long weekend with extended trading hours, opening from 5.00am until 5.00pm on Good Friday to cater for seafood lovers on one of the market’s busiest days of the year.

Open every day over the long weekend, Sydney Fish Market offers ample opportunity to stock up on fresh seafood for your Easter feast. We’re a one-stop shop to purchase all your much needed goodies, from hot cross buns, gourmet deli goods, fresh fruit & veg and fresh premium meat. You can even enjoy a delicious seafood meal from one of our many restaurants and café’s on our boardwalk.

Regular trading hours of 7.00am to 4.00pm will be in place for the remainder of the long weekend, Saturday, 15 April, to Monday, 17 April.

The Easter Bunny and his helper will be making an appearance on Good Friday, from 11.00am until 2.00pm.

Parking is available on-site as well as additional parking on Good Friday at Sydney Secondary College, Blackwattle Bay Campus for a flat rate of $5.00 for two hours. Entry to Sydney Secondary College is via Pyrmont Bridge Road.

Getting Here

The best way to get to SFM is via public transport

  • Sydney Light Rail: operates between Central, Haymarket, Darling Harbour, Lilyfield and Dulwich Hill, hop off a the Fish Market stop and follow the signs.
  • Bus Route 501: City/West Ryde/Ryde service departs from Miller St opposite Jones St
  • Bus Route 389: North Bondi/Pyrmont/City service departs from Harris and Allan St
  • Boat: Sydney Fish Market a landing pontoon to allow access to the market for small, private vessels.  The pontoon is restricted to vessels 6 metres and under and will be a drop off/pick up facility only to ensure maximum availability of the pontoon.
